Short Form One
Start in ready position. Place your left fist against the palm of the open right hand. Raise your hands (bending your elbows) to your right shoulder as you step out with the right left into a leaning stance. Step behind the right leg with the left foot as you bring your hands out in front of your chest. Step back with your left leg into a right leaning stance, as you open both hands and turn them in. Come back with the right leg so your feet are shoulder width apart as your continue to turn your hands in so that the back of your hands touch. Just as your foot makes it all the way back your hands should come into the retracted position, both hands in fists. Next, extend both arms down in a cross block, both hands open. Swing your arms out and up so that they cross over your head and then bring them back to the retracted position as you close your fists. Step around the front of your left leg with the right foot as you bend your knees and bring your arms up and in front of your chest crossed. Slowly extend your arms out to the sides until they are straight. When they are straight, bring your right hand in to the retracted position. Step to the left into a low leaning stance and deliver a right lunge punch downward. Open the right hand. Sweep 180 degrees to the right and deliver a cross block in another left leaning stance. Bring your hands over and behind your head. Bring them down, and then deliver a double fist punch upward to chin level. While you swing your arms turn right 270 degrees, and get into a horse stance just as you are delivering the punches. Open the left hand. Turn the palm of the left hand to the right hand. Raise the right elbow to the right side, causing the striking part of the right hand to be placed in the left palm. Shuffle to the right as you deliver a right elbow in that direction. Bring the left hand down as you step behind the right foot with the left foot. Both hands are open. Retract the right hand, keeping it open, while you deliver a circular block with the left hand. Retract both hands as you come up, and just as your feet come together swing your arms out and around to the front, bringing the back of both hands together, directly in front of you. Retract both hands. If you are going though Short Forms 1-4 in a sequence, start the next form here. If you are not going though a sequence, do the following.
