Circle of Tiger
Start with feet shoulder width apart, and hands in fists out in front. Step with right foot, so that feet are together, and open both hands, place the back of the right hand in the palm of the other, and raise the two in front and just above your head. Bring the arms and hands down slowly, and turn the hands over so that the right hand's fingers point left and the left hand's fingers point right. Continue to rotate the hands and lower the arms until your fingers are pointing down, and your arms are straight. Bend down to touch the tops of your knees, but continue to look forward, and then come back up. Put your hands in the palm heel strike position. Step forward with the right foot, so your foot is only about one shoulder width from the other. As you step deliver an inside forearm block with the left open hand. The right hand should be open and retracted. Step forward with the left foot to another of these short stances. As you step deliver a right inside forearm block. Turn 90 degrees to the right, step out with the right foot to another short stance and deliver a right inside forearm block. Move your left foot over, and turn left 180 degrees. You are in another of these short stances. Deliver a left inside forearm block. Look 180 degrees right. Step in that direction with the right leg. Step to a very low leaning stance. As you step to this stance, bring your right hand up to an upper block. Both hands are still open. Bring the left hand across your stomach and then up to an upper block. Bring the right hand across and then up to an upper block. Instead of retracting the left hand bring it down, straighten your elbow, and make your left arm parallel to your left leg. Bring the left hand up and look in that direction. Pivot to that direction as you bring your right hand across your stomach. Your left hand is up in an upper block. Retract it as you deliver a right upper block. Bring the left hand across and deliver a left upper block, bringing the right arm down parallel to the right leg. Pivot to a right leaning stance as you bring the right hand up. Bring the left hand across and deliver a left upper block. Come back to the left foot, feet together. Bring your open hands together over your head. Lower your arms and turn your wrists over, so that your fingers now point down. Bend down so the tips of your fingers come to knee level. Be sure to keep looking straight. Come back up. Step one shoulder width with the right foot to the right as you bring your arms out to your sides in fists.
